Wow did I show my age on that one... LOL Well where in the heck is everyone???? I have been sending notes as feelers... hoping to get some info on how my aunts and uncle is. Good thing Uncle Al lives close, I mooched breakfast off him a couple of Saturdays ago, it was yummy, I hadn't had corn beef hash and over easy eggs in a zillion years. It would have been better with tortillas but I didn't show up with any so... we will let that go, now.... I made like 50 tortillas for work the other day, holy crap my shoulder hurt that next morning! How did our mom's make those all the time? No wonder is hurt so bad when they 'love tapped us', they had some 'guns' (muscles) for not working out. Lets see my Dad is doing good. He was diagnosed with emphysema a month or so ago, it wasn't a big surprise the man has been smoking since he was 5 or so. He and I went round and round about him stopping smoking but really, what will it by him a year? he is 83 now... He might as well enjoy himself, he has earned it. He really doesn't smoke much anyway, like 2 cigarettes a day. He is still waiting for the house to sell. Steve is looking into some jobs in N.M. so he can be closer to help Dad if need be, so that's cool, I think he needs a break from the Land of Zion... ya know! Nancy's grandson is a DOLL he just turned one and started walking. I will attach the latest picture I have of him. For any of you all on Facebook Nancy has some cute pictures on there as well of him. Nara is doing well still in school. The switch from Portland State to Utah State screwed up her credits but she is getting thru. I started back to school, I am finishing up an environmental science. I pride myself on living in my happy bubble, out of touch with politics, global warming, over population, and government in general. Well, this class made me look at all those ugly things and research them, argh... so depressing, yet enlightening, and I have to say I intend to become a more enlightened voter... ick. My garden is gearing up, I planted peas today, take a minute to look at my blog on how my garden is growing. I must admit I copied David's son Patrik's idea on the blog thing but its a good idea and a good way to share my work. Here is a link to my gardens' blog. http://aepheebz.wordpress.com/ Love you all, Hope to hear from guys... soon... Anne |
